Welcome to Lady Elizabeth School, an English school in Jávea offering a British education in a bilingual and multicultural environment. At our English school in Jávea, we believe that the environment in which a child is educated has a fundamental impact on their development and growth. We offer a bilingual and multicultural environment where students can learn, explore and develop in a safe and stimulating environment. The cultural diversity of our school enables our students to value differences and respect other cultures, preparing them to be citizens of the world.
Our curriculum is British, all classes are in English and therefore our academic certificates are those of the British system, including GCSE at Y11 and A Levels at Y12-Y13.

At our English school in Jávea, we offer bilingual academic programmes from infant to baccalaureate, ensuring a complete and cohesive education throughout each stage of educational development.
In the infant stage, our pupils experience their first interaction with English naturally in a playful setting. We have constructed a nurturing environment where children can explore, play and learn through activities that encourage their curiosity and creativity. Children are consistently exposed to English, which facilitates their adaptation to the language and encourages the early development of language skills.
During the primary stage, our pupils continue to develop their language skills in Spanish and English simultaneously. We encourage meaningful learning through interdisciplinary projects that stimulate curiosity and critical thinking. We strive for our students to acquire a solid foundation in the main subject areas, while developing social and emotional skills that will enable them to become responsible and empathetic citizens.
From Year 3 we have an English immersion programme for new students, through the EAL (English Additional Language) programme.
In secondary school, students begin to delve deeper into different academic disciplines. We accompany them in the acquisition of advanced academic skills and encourage them to actively participate in their learning process, taking responsibility and strengthening their critical thinking. We also help them to identify their interests and talents, preparing them for the challenges they will face in the next stages of their education.
At this stage it is compulsory to choose a second language, French or German.
In the Sixth Form, our students actively prepare for their future pathways, including university admissions and beyond. We offer a wide range of subjects that allow our students to specialise in their areas of interest. The Sixth Form is designed to provide them with a rigorous and well-rounded education, while encouraging independent thinking and responsible decision-making. Our students leave the Sixth Form prepared for the academic and personal challenges that await them in their future endeavors.
