At our boarding school in Spain, the safety and emotional well-being of our students is our top priority. To support this commitment, students are guided by house rules, the boarding team and the school's safeguarding team. The team includes a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and a counsellor who are responsible for coordinating and overseeing safeguarding efforts within the school and boarding house.
All boarders have access to the counselling service, which provides a confidential and supportive space to discuss a wide range of issues.
Parents and boarders can access counselling services through a referral, or boarders can refer themselves. If you feel that your child could benefit from this type of support, please contact the House Parent or make an appointment with our DSL or School Counsellor.
At Lady Elizabeth School in Alicante, students benefit from a well-rounded support system designed to help them thrive. Through LES Plus Clubs and International Learning Opportunities, students have access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities that complement their academic development.
For those who need language support, the EAL and ELE programmes help develop English or Spanish language skills. In addition, students have one hour of supervised homework each day to ensure academic focus. Learning support is also available as required.
We create a safe and supportive environment to ensure students feel at home. Through carefully planned routines, social activities, and one-on-one guidance, we ensure that boarders are happy and confident in themselves.
