Pastoral care and wellbeing

Experience an approach to learning that promotes academic excellence while encouraging personal growth. At LES, students are confident learners who build positive relationships and take responsibility for their actions, preparing them for success in an interconnected world.

Inclusivity

Inclusivity

At Lady Elizabeth School, students benefit from a lively, diverse community of many nationalities, backgrounds and learning journeys. This is celebrated through events like International Day, a multilingual curriculum and a multicultural menu featuring dishes from Spanish paella to Mexican tacos. The inclusive approach includes tailored special education support, a wide range of extracurricular activities and dedicated counselling and safeguarding teams to ensure every student thrives in a safe, supportive environment.

Global diversity

Global diversity

Students benefit from the school's international character, as only 20% of the student body is of Spanish origin. The rest come from different countries, enriching the environment and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Additional Educational Needs (AEN)

Additional Educational Needs (AEN)

At Lady Elizabeth School, students receive additional educational support for diagnosed learning difficulties. Our dedicated AEN (Additional Educational Needs) department provides tailored support sessions and assists with assessments to determine the best way to meet each child's educational needs.

What does our pastoral support look like?

At Lady Elizabeth School, we care deeply. Our specialist teams help students in various ways to care for their overall wellbeing, social and emotional health.

01
Nurture emotional wellbeing

Students at our Private School in Javea receive support when facing personal, social or emotional challenges through individual counselling or small group sessions tailored to their needs.

02
Support in tough times

During difficult times such as family crises, bullying or personal struggles, students are provided with immediate care and support.

03
Cultivate healthy relationships

Students build healthy relationships by addressing issues like bullying, peer pressure and social isolation, which promotes a positive social environment.

04
Promote positive behaviour

In collaboration with teachers and parents, we develop behaviour strategies to support students, ensuring they stay on track both emotionally and academically.

05
Resolve conflicts

Students benefit from conflict mediation to maintain a positive and harmonious school atmosphere.

06
Monitor progress closely

Students' behaviour and progress are closely monitored, addressing concerns and informing senior leadership when extra support is needed.

07
Mentor academically

Students' academic progress is carefully tracked, providing extra support to those facing personal challenges to help them get back on track.

08
Tailor success plans

For students at risk of falling behind, we create personalised intervention plans with teachers and parents, setting achievable goals to help them succeed.

09
Ensure student safety

Safeguarding and Child Protection are our top priorities. We ensure all safeguarding policies are followed to the highest standard, keeping every student safe from harm.
