Programme highlights
ISP Artists encourages the artistic exploration of ISP students by providing them with guided activities to inspire their creative expression. Their work is then curated and shared in virtual spaces and schools through exhibitions.

In this brand new programme you will have the opportunity to watch your child grow their creative confidence as they dive into an enriching art framework exclusively designed by the ILOS team for students and teachers of ISP Artists. This framework will allow students to explore their creativity as they familiarise themselves with different techniques, mediums and themes. Additionally, students will participate in two live-streamed sessions facilitated by experts in the field who will support the students in developing their creative confidence.
ISP Activists
ISP Changemakers, previously known as ISP Futures, gives schools tools and methodologies for the development of projects focused on social impact that will enable communities to take action to address strategic issues that are relevant to their community and the future of it.
Knowledge: Know more about the different issues and opportunities that influence the wellbeing of the community
Skills: Be able to apply different frameworks and methodologies to create projects with social impact. Raise awareness and take action on environmental issues amongst ISP staff, students and wider school communities
Understanding: Develop an understanding of individual actions as well as the social impact of collective actions
Confidence: Grow confidence in the impact actions have to create sustainable change in the school community
Being a part of this program has helped me in things I didn't imagine it would. ISP Chess Masters
ISP Chess Masters grows students’ skills and teamwork by connecting them with other ISP students to play fast chess in online and in-person tournaments in local, regional and global contexts.

Skills: Be able to apply logical reasoning and mental flexibility to make effective decisions

I love chess and having the opportunity to get better at it through tournaments is simply amazing. You can share ideas about moves and your style of playing at the same time as playing, you can play with people you don't know and all of that with no material needed, just a computer.

ISP Cultural Exchange
ISP Cultural Exchange encourages reciprocal exchange across regions where ISP schools are located. The aim is to offer students the opportunity to experience a culture different from their own through a homestay and attending another ISP school for a month.

ISP Scientists
ISP Scientists provides a unique opportunity for students to become citizen scientists and contribute to real-world STEM research projects like mapping the journey of missing plastic waste or tracking their habits to measure their environmental impact.

ISP Filmmakers
ISP Filmmakers is a multi-disciplinary project in which students learn the importance of collaboration in achieving the common goal of producing a film, its trailer and poster. It provides insights into career pathways in film and media.

This programme really improves your understanding of filmmaking, planning, scenes shots and will really help you on your application later on for university. It also teaches you to work together on camera shots and editing that for sure will be needed in the future.

And as an official LAMDA - London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art centre, we offer exciting opportunities to hone your performance skills.
Students in the Eco Guardians group explore ways in which they, staff and parents can be more environmentally friendly and reduce our carbon footprint.
The group actively researches and implements projects that focus on waste reduction, energy conservation, minimising paper waste and composting, among other initiatives. In the past they have sponsored awareness campaigns, beach clean-ups and other activities to ensure that LES is as 'green' as possible.
Join the LES Amigos team! Participate in our dynamic parent volunteer group, a dedicated group of parent volunteers who organise and host various school events and weekend activities. Their initiatives include school social events such as the Christmas Fair and International Fair. They also coordinate parent cafés, bake sales, and uniform sales, fostering a strong sense of community within the school.
In both Primary and Secondary, students are selected as Head Pupils through an application and interview process.
They lead the student body and represent their peers in important school discussions and decisions. In addition, students in this role act as ambassadors for their peers and the school, often addressing visitors and other groups, such as at awards assemblies and new student and family orientations.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club, students formed the Interact group at the school to organise community service events and activities to raise awareness of and contribute to service projects in the local community.
Pupils volunteer to join the Student Voice team in both primary and secondary schools. These students work closely with the Pastoral Leaders and receive coaching training focused on promoting wellbeing for all.
The groups provide valuable feedback and suggestions for improving student life at our International School in Javea, while also contributing to efforts to improve wellbeing throughout the school.
It is led by an editorial team made up of secondary school students, who are chosen each year. It is published once a month and covers current affairs and topics of interest to students, under the final supervision of the editor-in-chief of the newspaper and the head of English studies.

Students from both Primary and Secondary are elected by their peers each year. The Student Council represents the needs of all students and works to find ways to improve the British School in Javea for everyone in the community.
Over the past year, students on the Student Council have led whole school activities such as e-safety, anti-bullying week, neurodiversity week and fundraising initiatives. They also act as our ambassadors during visits to international organisations such as the United Nations.

Saturday English Club
Join the Saturday English Club and immerse yourself in an engaging environment designed to improve your English language skills. Through interactive activities, you'll improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills while building confidence and enhancing your ability to communicate.
When students join Lady Elizabeth School, they are placed in one of four Houses - Blue, Green, Yellow or Red. They stay in the same House throughout their school journey, earning House Points for good behaviour and performance as well as sport results during various school events. This tradition fosters belonging and loyalty, with many sporting and charity events organised within the Houses.
From Crochet to Football, Musical Theatre to Book Club: LES Plus Clubs has something for EVERY child. Nearly 50 activities to inspire, challenge & excite! Clubs run: Mon–Thurs | 4:15–5:15 pm and Fri | 3:15–4:15 pm.
