At Lady Elizabeth School, we offer a British and international education for pupils aged 2 to 18. Our educational programme combines academic rigour, personalised support, language learning and a community made up of families from many different countries. If you are looking for an international school on the Costa Blanca, we invite you to discover an environment where your children can grow with confidence and prepare for a global future.
Lady Elizabeth School is a British international school for children aged 2 to 18, offering a coherent, progressive educational pathway tailored to each stage. Our model enables progression from Early Years through to Sixth Form, consolidating academic, personal and language skills. Learning is based on active methodologies, critical thinking, creativity and individual support. Furthermore, pupils learn in English and live in a multicultural environment that helps them communicate naturally and prepare for an international world.
Early Years
Ages 2 - 6
Language immersion begins from the earliest years. Our bilingual nursery school welcomes children into a warm and safe environment, where English is a natural part of the daily routine. Through play, exploration and interaction with specialist teachers, they develop their first communication and social skills. At this stage, the aim is not just to learn languages, but to grow in confidence. That is why we focus on independence, curiosity, creativity and emotional regulation.
Primary School
Ages 6 - 11
We offer a solid education through the British National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum. As a British primary school, we combine rigorous content with interdisciplinary projects that encourage inquiry, collaboration and meaningful learning. Pupils develop skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, humanities, art, technology and physical education. This stage builds study habits, independent thinking and leadership skills, whilst always prioritising well-being.
Secondary School (IGCSE)
Ages 11 - 16
Students explore their interests through a wide range of IGCSE subjects, enabling them to create a study programme tailored to their goals. The programme combines academic rigour, personalised guidance and life skills. Students learn to organise themselves, conduct research, present arguments and make responsible decisions. They also refine their command of English and Spanish, with the option to study other language.
Sixth Form (A Levels)
Ages 16 - 18
Our students actively prepare for their future pathways, including university admissions and beyond. We offer a wide range of subjects that allow our students to specialise in their areas of interest. The Sixth Form is designed to provide them with a rigorous and well-rounded education, while encouraging independent thinking and responsible decision-making.
Choosing our international school on the Costa Blanca gives you access to a recognised educational model, taught mainly in English and enriched by a multicultural community. Pupils follow a continuous pathway from the age of 2 to 18, with no abrupt changes between stages. They learn to communicate in several languages, discover different cultures and obtain qualifications that open up academic opportunities both within and outside Spain. Furthermore, our environment fosters an education close to nature, with spaces dedicated to science, the arts, sport, technology and social interaction.
At Lady Elizabeth School, students from over 60 nationalities come together. This diversity makes every school day an opportunity to hear different perspectives, share traditions and learn to interact with respect.
The daily use of English enables students to develop advanced language skills, both for communication and for tackling complex academic content.

The daily use of English enables students to develop advanced language skills, both for communication and for tackling complex academic content.Throughout the different stages of their education, they can sit British qualifications and internationally recognised certifications. We also encourage the learning of Spanish and other languages to broaden their academic and career opportunities. These qualifications allow them to officially demonstrate their level and facilitate the continuation of their studies within different education systems.
Our Sixth Form students receive support in researching degree programmes, comparing universities and preparing their applications. We guide them in their choice of subjects and help them understand the entry requirements of each institution. A-levels are qualifications recognised by universities in numerous countries. Furthermore, our programme prepares students for entry to both Spanish institutions and international universities.
Our track record, our academic results and the commitment of the entire educational community have made us a leading school.
